The Venetian Tower:

The Venetian Tower is located in the heart of the 2800-year-old bustling market town of Trogir on the Dalmatian Coast. Every corner of this UNESCO World Heritage Island City of Trogir, sometimes referred to as “The Stone Beauty”, is within a few minutes walk. This includes the old stone mainland bridge, the bridge to Island Ciovo, many good restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries, shops and St Laurence Square, where live music is played most evenings during the season, and of course The Riva waterfront. Due to the narrow alleyways and polished stone streets cars are restricted to one road. Island Hvar, Brac, Bol, Split; Krka waterfalls and many other local beauty spots are easily accessible from Trogir. Opportunities include scuba diving, sailing, canyoning, rafting, quad biking, walking, mountain biking and water sports. Local beaches are a few minutes walk away or a short trip on the water bus.

Built by the Andreaus family of Trogir in the tenth century The Venetian Tower was adopted by a Venetian merchant adventurer named da Mosto (the same family as Francesco da Mosto) several hundred years later. He became the Governor of Trogir.
